Other schools may treat President's Day as a vacation, but not here. At Hamilton, even the smallest Marines took the opportunity to learn more about our country and its government. For instance, Miss Buswell's 3rd grade class hosted a class election. Each student filled out a packet explaining what they would do as President. Then, each student was given the option to present their case on why they should be elected. The winner was Adelynn Lingo, who declared victory with a simple and direct, "I am Presidentttttt!" Great job Adelynn, we love the flair for connecting with the average person. Who knows, maybe you will be President some day.
