Hamilton's Academic Bowl Science team of Drew Merritt, Caleb McMullen, and Harrison Richter flexed some intellectual might at Purdue University today, May 4th, and brought home 3rd place from the State Finals competition. In doing so, they outperformed the likes of Ball State's Indiana Academy, widely regarded as one of the best high schools in the nation. All Juniors, the boys achieved their feat without a coach! Although Hamilton has 11 state titles in Academic Bowl, none are in science, so we're all looking forward to watching the boys bring home 1st place next year.
