Hamilton Community Schools

With Veterans Day coming up, it is a time to be thankful for all that we have, and all that we are allowed to do. Hamilton's Veterans Day program is coming up tomorrow at 9:00 AM and we hope to see our local veterans there! With that being said, we gathered a few words from two students, both of whom would like to join the military, to explain what inspired this career choice. Junior Robert Schiek states, "My inspiration to join the military was my great grandfather, who was in the Coast Guard, and my uncle that is in the Air Force. I'm very proud to call them family." Senior Sam Lockwood explains, "My inspiration to join the military has to be a mixture of the benefits and the willingness to serve my country." We are very proud of these boys and are thankful for all the veterans who served!
