Starting after Thanksgiving, Bus#6 will be picking up Pleasant Lake children at your house and also dropping them off in the afternoon. Please text me at 260-901-3057 if you want your child(ren) to be picked up at your house so we can plan the route. Dr Reichhart.
If you have friends who may want to attend HCS since we are running a bus to PL, please pass the word!
8th and 9th graders will be attending a field trip on Wednesday, November 5th. The bus will leave at 11:10 a.m. and return by 2:30 p.m. Your child will bring home a letter with details about the trip. Since your child already has a yearly field trip form on file, an additional permission slip is not required. Picture retakes take place tomorrow. If you were unhappy with your child's photo, please bring the pictures back for retakes tomorrow. If you were not present on picture day, you will have your picture taken tomorrow. Thank you!

Fall Cleanup Fundraiser
Cross Country/Track
Time to do some Fall cleaning! The best fundraiser of all. You get rid of junk and we get money for it. Bring in any scrap metal to school and drop it off in the trailer parked in the main parking lot. Proceeds will go towards the Track and Cross Country programs. .
Drop off dates: 10/18-10/19; 10/24-10/26; 10/31-11/2; 11/7-11/9.
What to bring: Anything metal, car/mower batteries(no lithium), that old non working grill sitting in your back yard, window air conditioning units, refrigerators, washer, dryers, old bikes,soup cans(start collecting), copper, aluminum, and aluminum cans, ect

Base opens at 9am today. Reminder, there is no school on Friday. Parent teacher conferences are from 3:30-7pm Thursday and 8-11:30am on Friday. Jr/Sr High teachers will be in the main gym for conferences. Elementary conferences are scheduled with parents-please arrive at your assigned time. Thank you!

Senior parents-A reminder for seniors attending the trip to Cedar Point tomorrow: Please report to school as usual. Be sure to bring a sweatshirt or a jacket and wear comfortable shoes! Also don't forget to bring a debit or credit card for purchases since the park is cashless. We will plan to be back to school before 10pm. Thank you!
Seniors- A reminder that the Parent/Student FAFSA presentation is 10/16 @ 5:30pm in the Cafeteria. InvestEd will discuss the FAFSA and help parents/students create accounts.
Parents & Students will need to bring the following items to the meeting;
Personal Devices/computers to access the studentaid.gov website
(students can bring their school computers), Social Security Number and Email Address.

Semi formal is this coming Saturday, October 11 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the main gym. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple. Tickets must be purchased no later than Wednesday, October 8 from Mrs. Harrison. Ticket includes DJ, Food and Dancing. Thank you and we look forward to a memorable night!

They did it!! Our varsity boys cross country team just won their first conference championship since 1975! Please meet at the 4 way stop near Rose Bros at 745pm tonight to congratulate and welcome them home!!

Your child who normally rides bus 1. tonight will be transported home by a different bus or minibus due to driver sickness.
