After a thorough search and interview process to hire a permanent Superintendent, it is with great pleasure to inform you that Dr. William Reichhart has accepted the position, officially changing from Interim Superintendent to Superintendent of Hamilton Community Schools (pending Indiana Code advertisement period and official board vote). As the board strives to facilitate an environment for academic excellence at all levels, Bill was a unanimous choice to move this vision forward for the foreseeable future.
The board has a great appreciation for all of the wonderful administration and staff members of HCS, and Bill brings to us a wealth of experience, strength, understanding, and compassion to support all of you to achieve your goals. Please take a minute and welcome Bill when you see him roaming around the building and at the many extra-curricular events that he loves to attend.

We understand that Verizon's cell service is not working, so please reach out to your friends and let them know of our delay. This is why I am sending this message early this afternoon. There is a possibility of no school but that call will be made no later than 8 am tomorrow depending on road and weather conditions.
Hamilton Hoops is cancelled tomorrow, 1/13/24, and next Saturday, 1/20/24. Two additional sessional will be added at the end. HH will resume on Saturday, 1/27/24. Thank you!
