Bethany Christian is hosting the girls sectional. With freezing rain forecast tonight, they are looking at moving our 6pm game to 5pm so the teams playing in the second game can get home safely. The other option is to play the game at 6 pm on Thursday (tomorrow night). They are checking with the IHSAA to see if either option will work and also checking with all four teams AD's to figure something out. if we do play at 5pm today, the team will be leaving school at 2:30 pm due to the distance to BC.
We will let you know as soon as we know when the game will be played. Please be prepared either way.

Parents:
This is Dr. Reichhart. The school board will be having an informational meeting on Monday, February 3, at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria for the sole purpose to inform the community on why we need to extend the referendum so we can continue to operate our local Hamilton Community Schools. Without the passage of the referendum on May 6, drastic cuts would need to be made for the 2027-28 school year and after. Extending the referendum will result in NO new taxes for our school district. It is crucial that you emphasize this point to other voters in our community when you have the opportunity. If you have. time, please join us for the Board Meeting on February 3, at 5:30 pm to express your support to the Board and the community to extend the referendum for 8 more years. Voting YES on May 6 will keep our community having local control of your children's education. You can email me at william.reichhart@hcs.k12.in.us if you have questions or concerns.
